Demountable construction
Flexible electrical engineering for demountable construction
Demountable construction requires smart, safe and quick-to-install electrical solutions. Van Lieshout Elektra has been a specialist in temporary and demountable installations for diverse projects for more than 60 years. Think of a temporary sports hall, a modular showroom or a bridging period during renovation: we supply the complete electrical infrastructure.

Quick installation, high reliability
Speed is key in demountable construction. Thanks to our large stock, in-house transport service and experienced fitters, we ensure that the installation is up and running very quickly. From power distribution to lighting and from electric heating to fire safety: we supply and install everything you need. Safe, energy efficient and in accordance with the highest standards.
Demountable buildings are often placed for a temporary period, but must meet the requirements of permanent construction. Therefore, we work with high-quality and reusable materials, suitable for long-term use. Our installations are easy to dismantle, move and reassemble, without compromising on quality or safety.
Solutions for every industry
Our electrical installations are widely used in a variety of sectors. Think of temporary sports halls, schools and educational buildings, fairs and event locations, temporary showrooms, emergency buildings for crisis relief and logistics hubs or storage facilities. We provide a suitable, safe and efficient solution for every situation.
Van Lieshout Elektra thinks along from the very first design. We tailor the installations completely to the construction method and useful life of the building. Even during execution, we remain involved and provide adjustments if the situation changes. This keeps your project flexible in every phase.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between demountable construction and traditional temporary installations?
Demountable construction goes beyond standard temporary installation. It focuses on reusability, modularity and flexibility. Whereas traditional installations are often project-specific and removed or discarded upon completion, demountable installations are designed to be easily dismantled, stored and reused on future projects. This lowers the carbon footprint and provides greater control over costs.
Can you also realize temporary installations that comply with the Building Code?
Yes, we design and install temporary electrotechnology that complies with current Dutch standards, including the Buildings Decree and relevant NEN guidelines. Especially for long-term use or in situations where public access is required (such as schools or sports facilities), we ensure that the installations fully meet all safety and comfort requirements.
How much preparation time is required for a project?
Thanks to our large inventory and streamlined processes, we can often move within a few working days. For larger or more complex projects, a preparatory phase of 1 to 3 weeks is common, in which we analyze the site, prepare drawings and coordinate with other parties involved. Fast switching is one of our specialties.
What happens to the installations after the project ends?
Our installations are fully demountable and dismantled safely after use. We can store them for future reuse, immediately deploy them in a new location or partially reuse them in other installations. By using reusable components, we reduce waste and lower costs for future projects.
Is demountable construction suitable for long-term applications?
Sure. Although it is often used for temporary situations, our electrical systems can also function smoothly in buildings that remain for several years. We use only high-quality components suitable for intensive use and long-term deployment.
How flexible are your solutions during the project?
We understand that plans can change. That’s why our systems are designed to be easily modified or expanded during the project phase. Think about adding additional groups, temporary lighting or expanding power points. Our team stays involved for as long as the project is active, effortlessly adapting to your changing needs.
Demountable construction with a specialist?
Electrical engineering that grows with your building plan
Demountable building requires installations that adapt to changing situations. Van Lieshout Elektra supplies systems that are easily expandable when a building is enlarged or rearranged. Whether it is an extra wing, new power points or additional lighting: we ensure that the electrical technology grows seamlessly with the needs of your project.
Sustainable installations for circular construction
Our electrical installations fit perfectly with circular building principles. By working with modular and reusable components, we reduce material waste and extend the life of installations. This not only contributes to a lower ecological impact, but also ensures lower costs when the building is reused or adapted in the future.
Demountable installations for quick delivery
Time is often scarce in temporary housing or emergency solutions. Thanks to our large stock, prefabricated preparation and efficient assembly, we deliver installations that are operational within a very short time. From temporary teaching spaces to emergency medical facilities, we realize the complete electrical engineering with minimal lead time and maximum reliability.
Full integration with other construction disciplines
Van Lieshout Elektra works closely with contractors, project managers and other construction partners. In this way, we ensure that the electrical engineering fits perfectly with the other building components – from installation space to lighting in the finishing phase. Our experience with modular building systems allows us to think along in the design at an early stage, thus avoiding technical bottlenecks and ensuring smooth implementation.
